A new home for the remote workforce in the Oxford area
Running Start Coworking, a provider of membership based workspace for startups, freelancers, remote workers and ventures of all size, announced the launch of a second location at 351 Main Street in Oxford, MA.
The new location is an exciting collaboration between Running Start Coworking and property owner, Mark Marzeotti and will offer the independent workforce of South County access to the many benefits of coworking without a long commute.
The Oxford location will offer both free-range and dedicated seating, private phone rooms, and conference space combined with the full menu of amenities and services offered by Running Start Coworking. Furnishing, secure WiFi, a member only social networking platform, and even coffee are included in all membership plans. Oxford members may also utilize Running Start Worcester located at 95 Prescott Street as well as several coworking spaces in Boston, Cambridge, Arlington, Dorchester, New Bedford, Cohasset, Lowell, and Framingham, as part of Running Start’s partnership with Workbar, a Boston based coworking space operator.
Property owner Mark Marzeotti realized that there was a definite local demand for this type of plug-and-play workspace. “After purchasing the building earlier this year, I needed to decide how to fill a current vacancy. After much thought, and networking with my Chamber of Commerce, I decided that the building could be ideal for a collaborative workspace.” Running Start cofounder Ryan Leary agreed, “The addition of the Oxford location not only expands Running Start’s market but adds definite value to our existing community of members. This location will have a look and feel all its own, and we’re excited to see the personality of this new coworking community take shape.”
Running Start Coworking launched in 2012 as the first coworking space in Worcester. Since then, the company has seen rising demand for coworking space and has experienced consistent growth in its membership base. A mix of solopreneurs, startups, freelancers, remote workers and enterprise scaled companies from a wide range of industries make up a diverse community of members. The Oxford location is scheduled to open in June and anyone interested in joining can contact Running Start Coworking at ohey@runningstartinc.com to learn more about reserving a membership in advance.
